Sedna Disscussion

Dylan Brady

English III

In the myth “Sedna” it shows how corruption can overpower two men through the power of a young lady. The Indian tribes belive that they must must please her with sacred ceremonies so they may live in peace and harmony and be able to obtain food and water. Sedna’s dad was a rather harsh character only looking out for himself and making sure he survives. This myth is more along the lines of secretion myth for Sedna’s fingers get cut off and create sea life, such as walruses and seals. Senya was quite an interesting myth to learn and read about.
